The Promotion starts at 9am AEDT Monday, 22 April 2024. The Promotion closes at 5pm AEDT Wednesday, 31 July. No entries will be accepted after this time.

To enter, entrants must, during the Promotion Period:

Successfully submit the Legends of the Trade submission form located on the landing page: https://cabinetryonline.co/legends-of-the-trade

The promoter may choose to accept a submission from another method at their discretion.

JUDGING DETAILS

Major Prize

Judging will be conducted by a panel of 3 members representing Cabinets by Computer PTY LTD. All entrants’ answers to the prize question will be reviewed and the best 15 entries that satisfy the judging criteria will be placed in a short list. The short-listed entries will then be voted on by the judging panel, with each judge independently ranking their top 15 answers from 15 points (best entry) to 1 point (15th best entry). Votes will be tallied and the top 15 entries will be determined based on an accumulative score of all 3 judges. The winner of the prize will be the entrant whose entry scores the highest points across all 3 judges. The winner will receive 5 slabs of Joinery Juice lager.

Judging commencement date: Thursday, 1st August 2024

Judging conclusion date: Wednesday, 14th August 2024

Location: Result of judging panel to be compiled at 192-246 Staceys Road, Connewarre VIC 3227

Monthly Prize

In addition, one winner will be selected from entries received in the Months of May and June. Each winner will receive one slab of Joinery Juice Lager.

Judging Commencement Date: Last business day of the Month for May and June.

Judging Conclusion Date: 5 working days after judging commencement date.

Judging Criteria

This is a game of skill, so each entry will be judged on its accuracy, creativity, originality and ingenuity. Based on these criteria, the judging panel will determine the winner as being the answer which displays the most captivating and original response deemed fitting within the competition theme.

NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION OF WINNERS:

Winners will be notified by phone/email within 2 business days of being selected. Prize winners’ names will be published on the Cabinetry.Online Facebook page and web site (cabinetryonline.co).


1. Instructions on how to enter and prize information forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Legends of the Trade competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. The promoter conducts one type of competition only: a game of skill. In the game of skill, winners are based on the skill of their entry in response to the prize question with reference to the judging criteria.

3. When there is a game of skill, Cabinets by Computer PTY LTD operates in accordance with the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) regulations.

4. Entry is open to Australians aged eighteen years or over. Employees and immediate families of the promoter are ineligible to enter. Persons under the age of 18 years are not considered adults and therefore are not able to enter. If a winner is discovered to be under 18, or an employee or immediate family member of the promoter, they will automatically be disqualified.

5. Promotion commences and closes on the dates shown. Only the winner(s) will be notified by email and must respond within 48 hours or the prize may be re-allocated.

Re-allocation will be based on remaining competition entrants.

6. To enter, entrants must complete the entry form during the promotion period and provide an answer to all compulsory questions. Incomplete or automated entries will be disqualified. Multiple entries from the same IP address, same email address or from automated competition entry services are invalid.

7. One entry per person only. Multiple entries from the same person will result in all entries by that person being disqualified.

8. The judging panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, whereby the prize is not a cash prize. No responsibility is accepted or any variation in the value of the prize. Any costs associated with entering the promotion or redeeming prizes are the sole responsibility of the competition entrants.

10. All competition entrants must reside in Australia. Winners entering from outside Australia will be disqualified.

11. The promoter reserves the right to, at any time, verify an entry or entrant and disqualify an entrant, if found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the competition; to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions; to be submitting responses mechanically or repetitively; or to be engaging in any other conduct deemed by the Competition Operator to be in violation of the spirit of the competition.

12. All entries in the competition become the property of the promoter. The promoter collects personal information from entrants to conduct the competition and may, in the course of business, disclose the personal information to third parties, as required. Entry in this competition is conditional on provision of the personal information requested.

Entries may be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants’ names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity in various forms by the Promoter, and the entrant consents to such use. Entrants may direct any request to access their personal information to the Promoter. Additionally, all literary works and imagery submitted as part of an entry become the property of the promoter and it is a condition of entry that those literary works may be used by the Promoter for their own promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without restrictions.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the competition without notice.

14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or inconsequential loss) or personal injury in relation to this competition or the use of, or participation in, the prize.

15. Prizes, where that prize is physical and not digital or monetary, can only be sent to addresses in Australia.

16. All amounts listed are expressed in Australia Dollars (AUD).

17. These Terms & Conditions will bind this and any future entry by you into a competition on this site and may be updated from time to time.
